History of Jaipur: –
Jaipur city is the capital of state Rajasthan built by the Sawai Jai Singh|| between 1727 and 1734 but Jaipur was widely known by another name called Pink city. It is because in 1876 the whole city was painted by pink color in the grand welcome of the Prince of Wales and after this Jaipur got their unique identity in the world.
The city was well designed according to Indian Vastu Shastra and it was planned by a Bengali architect named “Vidhyadhar Bhattacharya” by their principle of Shilpa Shastra. The city was well designed in such a manner that each street and market are connected with each other in any direction.

By Road:- RSRTC (Rajasthan state road Transport Corporation) is a public transport company. The corporation was established by the Government of Rajasthan on 1 October 1964 under the Road Transport Act 1950. RSRTC operates buses in Rajasthan and adjoining the state of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Uttrakhand.
The Nh8 which links Delhi to Mumbai, Nh11 links Bikaner to Agra, Nh12 links to Kota, also From Agra, Delhi to Jaipur the distance is 250 km around which is easy to cover by road.
By Train:- Jaipur Railway Station is the Cleanest Station in India which is linked with Delhi, Agra, Kota, Udaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Ahmadabad, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Haridwar, Amritsar, Jammu Tawi, etc. Apart from this Jaipur also serves as the headquarters of the North Western Railway zone of the Indian Railways since 2002.
By Air:- Jaipur International Airport is located at Sanganer which is around 10 km distance from the center of the city. Jaipur International Airport has been declared as the World’s Best Airport in the category of 2 to 5 million passengers per annum for 2015 & 2016 according to Airports Council International.
