Jaipur got its first underground Metro

After seven-year finally, Jaipur got their very first underground metro train.

It takes the seven-year struggle for every Jaipur citizens, especially those who live in the Main Jaipur city which we called the Char diwari of Pink city. The char diwari of Jaipur is surrounded by the four gates is Sanganeri gate, Chandpol gate, Surajpol gate, and Jorawar Singh gate.

The first Jaipur metro construction started on13 September 2010 and was completed in 2014. It covers 9.63km (5.98mi) from Mansarover to Chandpol Bazar. It was officially started on 3 June 2015. For the last seven-year, especially the Jaipur Shopkeepers, businessman, laborers, etc. they all have to struggle but their patience is at the top level because they all are waiting for this moment.

CM of Rajasthan Mr. Ashok Ghalot inaugurated the first Jaipur underground metro through video conferencing on 23 September 2020, It connects from the heart of the Pink city, Badi Chopar to Chandpol gate and from Chandpol to Mansarover. It took a long time for every Jaipur citizen who was struggling and going through many problems because the construction of Jaipur metro work. Roads have to been blocked in the earlier days and the same time Rajasthan government has decided to reconstruct the whole roads again. Sometimes it’s one way and sometimes it’s not. Roads had been blocked, traffic was everywhere. After seven-year Jaipur is back but not on the roads, this time Pink city is on the track.

Stations Names: Mansarovar, New Aatish Market, Vivek Vihar, Shyam Nagar, Ram Nagar, Civil Lines, Railway Station, Sindhi Camp and Chandpol, Choti Chopar, and Badi Chopar.
